Ridgeway Independent School Concert

Pupils from Ridgeway Independent School showed that not only can one achieve unity through dance, but that one can bring a smile to anyone’s face.

The school, situated just outside of Louis Trichardt, hosted its annual school concert last Friday with the theme Ridgeway’s Got Stars. All of the students participated, on and off stage. The school even had the opportunity to introduce their first ever ensemble band, who opened the stage with the national anthem.

Apart from the group performances, there were also plenty of individual performers during the course of the evening. Even the teachers were involved – not only in decorating the stage – but also in one or two skits of their own, which had the audience wipe away tears of laughter.
