My fears for old age were unfounded

I am an “oldie” living at Ons Tuiste in Louis Trichardt.

I have been in residence for six months and am pleased that I live here!

Before moving in, I had quite a few fears and misgivings about homes for the aged in general and was not looking forward to the change in my life, i.e. living in an “institution” as I thought of these homes.

But my fears have been for nothing as I am happy, contented  and feel very secure here. The management  and staff are incredibly caring, helpful and the residents very friendly - everyone helping each other.

The food is very good and  healthy. We have various visits from altruistic groups quite often and everyone’s religious affiliations are respected and catered for. I am very pleased that I am here and  salute and bless all those who care for us so well.
