The charges related to incidents that took place in 2014. Mushasha found Ntsieni guilty on 11 charges: five of murder, four of rape and two counts of robbery. The court also found that DNA tests linked Ntsieni to all charges and Mushasha said that the court was satisfied that the accused had acted alone in all instances.

She died after the ordeal.

State prosecutor, Adv Ratshilumela Makhera described Ntsieni as “a person who fabricated his statements, changes like a chameleon and he is a liar.” At the time of our going to press on Wednesday afternoon, Ntsieni’s legal representative, Attorney Mpho Makhuvha, was addressing the court in mitigation of sentence.
