Rospa United teach Basel FC a lesson

Things are continuing to take shape in the camp of Rospa United Football Club. They are still celebrating last weekend's 4-1 victory over Basel FC.

The match was played at the Seshego Stadium on Sunday. Kenneth "Mabena" Lesia, Velile Mdaka and Samuel “Fire” Mohloa scored for United, while the fourth one was an own goal. Basel’s consolation goal came six minutes before half time via Khumbudzo Muvhango.

Joe’s Express have reason to celebrate. They came back with full points from their away fixture against one of the hot league title contenders, Bellevue Winners Park, whom they beat 1-0 at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen on Saturday. Dzivhuluwani Simba scored the all-important goal for Joe’s Express.

Lephalale Young Killers could not absorb the pressure from The Dolphins FC, who beat them 2-1 at the Mogol Stadium in Lephalale. In their equally contested game at the Nkowankowa Stadium on Saturday, Dynamos unexpectedly held Giyani Hotspurs to a 3-3 draw.

Blue Rocks continued to pave their way up the log by beating Mighty FC 2-0 at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen on Sunday. Blue Rocks scored their two goals in the first half, but that did not stop Mighty from fighting back. They continued to fight collectively, but their strikers were unlucky.

Ray Pillars relaxed after scoring a goal against Mosesetjane All Stars in the 24th minute. Mosesetjane All Stars capitalized on this and found the equalizer in the dying minutes of the game.

Magezi Football Club beat Winners Park 1-0 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday. Magezi’s goal was scored from a penalty after their striker, Johnny Maake, was brought down within the box.
