Park vs Magezi FC

After giving points to Joe Express at the Makwarela Stadium last Saturday, Bellevue Winners Park have another tricky hurdle ahead this weekend. They will host Magezi FC in an ABC Motsepe League match at the Giyani Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

It will be a do-or-die situation for both Magezi and Winners Park. They are both hot contenders for the league championship, with Magezi leading the pack with 28 points, one ahead of Winners Park.

Magezi are in winning mode after beating the newly promoted Bilika All Stars 2-1 at the Seshego Stadium last Sunday.

Winners Park are currently without a coach after firing the team’s head coach, Mr Joel Mongalo, last week. Mongalo’s dismissal came as a shock to the football followers as the team was leading the pack when he parted ways with the club.

In the other ABC Motsepe match that will also be played tomorrow afternoon, Great North FC will meet Lephalale Young Killers at the Seshego Stadium. Young Killers will be lucky if they manage to go back home with a point in hand. Great North FC are stubborn, especially in their own backyard.

A1 Terrors will play against Winners Park at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane, while Mighty FC will have a date with Giyani Hotspurs at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Modimolle Aces will pay a visit to The Dolphins FC at the Eldorado Stadium in Polokwane.

It remains to be seen whether the match between Blue Rocks and Bilika All Stars, which is scheduled for 17:00 at the Giyai Stadium, will take place. Blue Rocks have a reputation of not honoring league fixtures lately.

Joe Express will play against Mosesetjane All Stars at the Mahwelereng Stadium. Express’s all-rounder, Ndivhuwo “Segere” Ravhuhali, will not be available tomorrow. He was taken to hospital with a fractured leg during their game against Bellevue Winners Park last Saturday. Luckily, their central midfielder, Derrick Mafela, will be available for selection tomorrow. Mafela saw red in their game against Bilika All Stars at the Giyani Stadium two weeks ago, a game which Express lost 5-7.
