Money for TJ teams

 

Next Friday, March 6, will be harvest day for the teams which took part in the 2014 TJ Healthcare Pharmacy KO Competition.

The event will be held at the pharmacy in Sibasa and will start 17:00. According to one of the organizers of the competition, Mr Rabson Magoro, cash prizes totalling R8 000 will be distributed to the winning teams.

The champions, Maindis Ladies FC, will take home R5 000, a floating trophy, a soccer ball and T-shirts. Chippas United Ladies FC (2nd), will receive R2 000, a soccer ball and T-shirts, and Shayandima Morning Stars (3rd), R1 000 and T-shirts during the ceremony.

Magoro said that preparations for this year’s competition are at an advanced stage and asked clubs wishing to be part of this year’s competition to register at the pharmacy. The registration fee is R500. Only clubs affiliated to Stream B of the Sasol and Absa League are eligible to register in the competition.

He also indicated that further particulars relating to this year’s competition would be discussed during the ceremony. The kick-off date and the prizes will also form part of the discussion during the ceremony. He asked clubs to send a maximum of three delegates to the ceremony.
