TJ Healthcare teams to receive their money

 

Today is payday for the teams which took part in the 2014 TJ Healthcare Pharmacy KO Competition. The prize-awarding ceremony will be held at the pharmacy in Sibasa, starting at 17:00.

According to an organizer of the competition, Mr Rabson Magoro, cash prizes totaling R8 000 will be distributed to the winning teams during the ceremony.

The champions, Maindis Ladies FC, will receive a cash prize of R5 000 as well as a floating trophy, a soccer ball and T-shirts. The runners-up, Chippas United Ladies FC, will be presented with a cash prize of R2 000, a soccer ball and T-shirts, while the third-placed side, Shayandima Morning Stars, will receive R1 000 and T-shirts.

Magoro also added that the preparations for this year’s competition are at an advanced stage. He appealed to the clubs wishing to be part of this year’s competition to register as soon as possible at the pharmacy. The registration fee is R500.

Only clubs affiliated to Stream B of the Sasol and Absa League are eligible to register in the competition.

The further particulars relating to this year’s competition will be discussed during the ceremony. The kick-off date and the prizes will also be discussed during the event. He appealed to the clubs to delegate a maximum of three officials to the ceremony.
