Double header at the Giyani Stadium

The Giyani Stadium will be a hive of activity tomorrow afternoon. A double header involving four ABC Motsepe League teams, Dynamos FC, Modimolle Aces, Bilika All Stars and Winners Park, will be staged there.

Dynamos and Modimolle Aces are expected to open the proceedings, starting at 13:00. The fact that Aces are fast becoming the milk cow of the league is reason enough for Dynamos to believe that they will collect the maximum points in the match.

Aces’ performance has been deteriorating over time. Apart from the league points which they donate to the opponents in the field of play, Modimolle Aces have a tendency of not honoring their league matches. They gave away vital points to Joe Express last Tuesday after failing to show up at the Makwarela Stadium.

The game will serve as a curtain raiser for the match between Bilika All Stars and Winners Park, which is scheduled to kick off at 15:00.

The match of the week will be between Magezi FC and Great North FC at the TT Cholo Stadium in Polokwane. Great North and Magezi are close contenders for the league title. Both Magezi and Great North won their matches last weekend.

Giyani Hotspurs will travel to Polokwane, where they will try their luck against Polokwane United at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. United started the season on a high note, but their fighting spirit is fading with time. They recently lost three matches in succession.

The Dolphins will host Mighty FC at the Eldorado Stadium in Polokwane. Mighty FC must win the match in order to stay on the safe side when it comes to relegation.

The pace setters, Bellevue Winners Park, will entertain Lephalale Young Killers at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen. Bellevue will pin their hopes on Mpho Masenamela and Velile “Mlungu” Mdaka for goals.

Mosesetjane All Stars will fight for league points with A1 Terrors at the Mahwelereng Stadium.
