Zoutpansberg Powerline draw with Zamenkomste

Zoutpansberg Powerline held the on-form Zamenkomste Liverpool to 2-all draw in their MMK Administrator’s League match played at Madabani on Monday.

Liverpool approached the match like a house on fire, with their midfielders distributing excellent passes to their strikers. They threatened to score after only five minutes, when Trinity Tshiafhula forced his way through the defence of the oppnents and passed the ball to Nkhumeleni Makovhololo. His attempt missed the target by inches.

In the 20th minute, Rudzani Nembulu of Powerline beat all the defenders, including the keeper, and shot wide with an empty net in front of him. Kingsley Muligwa scored Liverpool's first goal in the 30th minute. He unleashed a powerful shot from outside the box and beat the keeper of Powerline, Tshifhiwa Netshisaulu, easily.

In the second half, Liverpool abandoned their positions and packed themselves at the far back. Nndwakhulu Malebana of Powerline scored the equalising goal for his team in the 68th minute after beating the off-side trap.

After the goal, Liverpool's midfielders hesitated for too long and did not release the ball on time to the goal poachers. They initiated several promising moves from the centre of the pitch but were denied a number of scoring opportunities by the solid defence of Powerlines.

Dakalo Muhali of Powerline forced his way through the defence of Liverpool and released a rocket from outside the box to make the score 2-1.Their celebration was cut short when Nkhumeleni Makovhololo of Liverpool scored his team's second goal and the equaliser after he finished off a square pass from Raymond Sekhitha.
