Soccer festival at the Giyani Stadium

The affiliates for the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League will play their second-last league matches this weekend.

The Giyani Stadium will be a hive of activity tomorrow afternoon. That is where the long-awaited double header will be staged. The first match will be between Dynamos and Magezi FC and is scheduled to kick off at 13:00.

Dynamos have only pride to lose in the match as they are well positioned on the log, while Magezi are currently leading the pack. Magezi are still fresh from a 5-0 victory over Polokwane United at the TT Cholo Stadium in Polokwane, while Dynamos played to a 2-2 draw with Joe Express last Saturday.

The second match will be between Bilika All Stars and A1 Terrors. Both teams are fighting for survival and for that reason the sparks are expected to fly. A1 Terrors and Bilika All Stars won their last matches. Joe Express will travel to Polokwane where they will battle for league points against Great North FC at the Seshego Stadium.

It remains to be seen whether Great North FC will be able to make Joe Express pay for the 0-3 defeat which they suffered at the hands of Winners Park last weekend.

The Waterberg derby between Mosesetjane All Stars and Modimolle Aces will be played at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane. Modimolle Aces desperately need the points for the match in order to move out of the relegation zone, where they are currently languishing.

Lephalale Young Killers will travel to Polokwane, where they will lock horns with The Dolphins. Young Killers are still in mourning after losing 0-1 to Mighty FC last weekend.

Winners Park will be the visiting side in their match against Mighty FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium this evening, starting at 18:00.
