Magezi FC the ABC Motsepe champions

Magezi FC are the champions of the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League. This despite the fact that they lost their final league match.

They lost 0-2 to Dynamos at the Giyani Stadium last Saturday. The team finished their league programme with 71 points, seven ahead of Bellevue Winners Park. They are now waiting to try their luck in the promotional play-offs that will be played later this month. They were crowned the Limpopo champions last season, but they could not make the grade in the promotional play-offs.

Blue Rocks and Modimolle Aces will be campaigning in the lower division, come next season. They finished the league programme in the last two positions respectively. Joe Express, who tasted the luxury of leading the pack at the beginning of the season, finished their league programme in the 11th spot. In their last match, they lost 0-2 to Great North in Seshego.

Mosesetjane All Stars escaped relegation by a whisker, following their 2-1 victory over Modimolle Aces. Aces have been relegated to the SAB League after the defeat.

Giyani Hotspurs were the hardest hit. They were brutally walloped 0-6 by Bellevue Winners Park at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen. Bilika All Stars finished the season on a high note when they beat A1 Terrors 2-0 at the Giyani Stadium.

Lephalale Young Killers lost 0-2 to The Dolphins at the Eldorado Stadium in Polokwane. Mighty FC donated points to Winners Park at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
