2-1 Victory for Real Hearts

Midoroni Real Hearts beat Muraleni Lakuruna 2-1 in their Limpopo Dairy League match at the fully packed Midoroni sports grounds on Sunday afternoon.

It was evident from the start that Hearts were going to collect full points as the hosts were outclassed in all departments. Hearts opened their account in the 15th minute. Their all-rounder, Teddy Thavhiwa, was on target, following a neat pass from Awelani Sinugo.

Lakuruna came close to scoring again in the 24th minute. Wiliam Baloyi held onto the ball for too long within the Stars’danger area, until he lost possession.

Real Hearts gained momentum with time. Their second goal came in the 34th minute. Awelani Sinugo made no mistake after receiving a pre-cooked pass from Rudzani Kgalosho. The score was 2-0 when the referee blew the half-time whistle in favour of Hearts.

Stars introduced Ndivhuwo Mukwevho for Given Tshitetete and Fire Boys responded by replacing Andani Naluvhola with Ntanganedzeni Mashamba in the 67th minute. Fhumulami Tshivhuya of Lakuruna scored the only goal of his team. Rudzani Kgaloshi of Real Hearts was given a red card for a second bookable offence late in the game.
