Black Leopards to face Warriors

Unlike in the last three years where Black Leopards played their preliminary-round match of the Nedbank Cup at home, this year they will face African Warriors away from home.

The Nedbank Cup preliminary-round draw in respect of the teams campaigning under the banner of the National First Division was conducted at the Premier Soccer League headquarters in Park Town on Monday afternoon. Although the venues for the preliminary matches will be announced in due course, Warriors will most likely stage the match at their normal home ground, the Charles Mopedi Stadium in Phuthaditshaba.

The pace setters, Baroka FC, will also play at home. They will host Royal Eagles. Santos will meet Witbank Spurs at eMahahleni, while Highlands Park will host Milano United.

The other preliminary round fixtures are: Vasco da Gama vs Mbombela United, Amazulu vs Thanda Royal Zulu, Moroka Swallows vs FC Cape Town and Mthatha Bucks vs Cape Town All Stars. The matches will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday, 15 and 16 December.
