Soccer spectacle at Giyani

The Giyani Stadium will be a hive of activity this weekend as three ABC Motsepe League matches will be staged there.

Two matches will be played tomorrow afternoon and one on Sunday afternoon. Tomorrow, Joe Maweja and Giyani Hotspurs will play at 15:00. Maweja must win the match in order to keep their title hopes alive. They still stand an outside chance of winning the league. They will pin their hopes on Walter Netshimbulu, Nndwamato Ndou and Laymond Muleya for goals, while their defenders, Dakalo Ratshitanga, Khongotela Mahlaule and Thompho Maliehe, are expected to keep their danger area clean from the onset.

The second match will be between Gawula Classic and Polokwane Academy. It will start at 17:00. Gawula Classic are not easy to beat at their own home ground and for that reason Polokwane Academy will be lucky if they manage to go back with a draw.

In another important match the following day, Bilika All Stars will meet the pace setters, Magezi FC.

In the other matches that will be played tomorrow afternoon, The Dolphins will host Nkowankowa Barcelona at the Eldorado Stadium in Polokwane. Bellevue Winners Park will have a date with Polokwane United at the Nkowankowa Stadium, starting at 13:00.

Boyne Young Tigers will travel to Bela Bela where they will meet A1 Terrors at the Sunfa Stadium. Mosesetjane All Stars will fight for league points with Lephalale Young Killers at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane. Mighty FC will try their luck against Great North FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
