Struggling A1 Terrors to face Maweja

A1 Terrors will be lucky if, by chance, they manage to hold Joe Maweja to a draw when they meet in their ABC Motsepe League match at the Tshifulanani Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

It will be a matter of life or death for Terrors as they are currently languishing at the bottom of the log with 12 points accumulated from 24 outings. On the other hand, Maweja have nothing to worry about as they are on the safe side when it comes to relegation. The only hope for Vhembe District is lying in the sixth position on the log with 35 points gained from 20 matches. Maweja have played two matches fewer than the majority of the teams.

The strikers for Terrors will not find it easy to penetrate the defence of Maweja, which will be marshalled by Dakalo Ratshitanga, Thompho Maliehe and Khongotela Mahlaule. Maweja will pin their hopes on Mashudu Makhari, Walter Netshimbilu and Takalani Ramagalela for goals.

Mighty FC will host Gawula Classic at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium this afternoon (Friday). Mosesetjane All Stars will travel from Mokopane to Giyani where they will lock horns with Giyani Hotspurs at the Giyani Stadium. Mosesetjane All Stars are still looking for answers after losing 1-2 to Joe Maweja at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane last Saturday. Great North FC will entertain Bellevue Winners Park at the Seshego Stadium. Both Great North and Bellevue lost last weekend.

The logleaders, Magezi FC, will entertain their home crowd when they host Nkowankowa Barcelona at the TT Cholo Stadium in Polokwane. Polokwane Academy and Polokwane United will battle it out for league points at the Polokwane Rugby Fields. Boyne United will pay a visit to Lephalale Young Killers at the TT Cholo Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday afternoon.
