Home matches for local ABC teams

The struggle for promotion and to escape relegation at the end of the season will continue among the teams campaigning under the banner of the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League this weekend.

Two of the three Vhembe-based sides, Madridtas FC and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, will play their matches in front of their home crowds.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, or TTM, will entertain Gawula Classic at the Tshifulanani Stadium tomorrow. Although the game was not played to the finish, TTM are still batting to come to terms with what happened to them at the TT Cholo Stadium last Sunday. The goal posts fell down during the game and the referee was prompted to call the game off. At that stage the home side, Lephalale Young Killers, were leading 3-0.

Madridtas FC will enjoy the home-ground advantage in their match against Boyne Young Tigers at the Tshifudi Stadium. The spirit is high in the camp of Madridtas after rising to the occasion and holding The Dolphins FC to a 1-1 draw in Polokwane.

The pace setters, Bellevue Winners Park, will test their strength against The Dolphins FC at the Giyani Stadium. The Dolphins are one of the league title contenders. They are in the second spot on the log. Giyani Hotspurs will take on Lephalale Young Killers at the Giyani Stadium. The much-awaited Polokwane derby between Polokwane United and Polokwane Academy will be staged at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Molemole Academy will entertain Great North FC at the Nirvana Stadium. Molemole Academy are still celebrating their 2-0 victory over Joe Maweja. Mokopane Ratanang will have a date with Mighty FC at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane.
