Tshifhire Northern Brothers and Mulodi Freedom Birds will clash at the Makwarela FNB Stadium on Saturday to decide who the winners will be in the Safa Vhembe SAB Champ of Champs tournament.

Northern Brothers beat Tshakhuma RO 3-2 in the semifinal, while Freedom Birds were too strong for Mukula Santos (3-1).

Saturday's main match will start at 15:00. The first match will be the losers final between Mukula Santos and Tshakhuma RO, starting at 13:00. The winner will bank R20 000 and the losers in the final will receive R15 000.

Mr Rendani Mudumela, manager of Tshifhire Northern Brothers, has appealed to the club's enthusiastic supporters to stay calm, saying they will win the play-off. He said that apart from the fact that there was a lot at stake in the league matches, it was time for them to fulfil their promises. They had promised the fans that they will bring home some silverware this season.

Mr Nkhangweleni Sengani, coach of Freedom Birds, said they had huge respect for Brothers, especially when considering their performance. “We have been motivating the players on and off the pitch. We have what it takes to win the championship," said Sengani.
