Final hurdle for local NFD teams

This weekend marks the end of the league activities for the national first division (NFD) teams. All matches will be played on Sunday afternoon.

Dynamos will wrap up their league programme with an away fixture. They will play against Carara Kicks at the Charles Mopedi Stadium in Phuthaditjshaba. It is a do-or-die match for Dynamos, as a defeat might see them drop to the Vodacom Promotional League.

The league champions, University of Pretoria, will meet Thanda Royal Zulu at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria. Although they still have a match to play, University of Pretoria were officially crowned the league champions after last Sunday's match against Mpumalanga Black Aces at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg.

The other fixtures are: Witbank Spurs vs United FC; Mpumalanga Black Aces vs FC Cape Town; Bay United vs Blackburn Rovers and FC AK vs Chippa United.
