The Musina showground overflowed with fun lovers as high-profile local and national artists entertained people during the annual Musina show.
Big names that left music lovers crying for more included Candy, Winnie Mashaba, Colbert Mukwevho, Zozo and Sengere Super Beat, Mdu Masilela, Afrikaans Jukebox, Dewald Wasserfal, DJ Ganyani, Uhuru, DJ Soul T, and DJ Problem Child, to name but a few.
When officially opening the show, mayor Mihloti Ramoyada said that the annual show targeted audiences across the cultural spectrum through classic advertising, publicity and trade exchanges, delivering a very high volume worth of exposure. “The fact that a large percentage of consumers tend towards cash buying means exhibitors enjoy improved cash flow as a direct result, with follow-up business after the show adding a valuable rounding off of this powerful marketing exercise."
She added that the Musina Local Municipality was optimistic that the show would "be on everybody’s lips long after the exhibitors have disassembled their stalls.”
Ramoyada said the show gave an opportunity to exhibitors, ranging from companies to government institutions, to market their products directly to the public. “We therefore encourage our people to use this exceptional opportunity to enhance their images and popularize their brands, especially the small, medium and micro enterprises who must grab this opportunity for networking.”
Besides exhibitions and music festivals, fun lovers also enjoyed themselves in the form of a merry-go-round, jumping castles, traditional dances and drum majorettes.
