Hilda M is now living her dream

Since she was a young girl, all she has ever dreamed about was to be a famous actress and musician.

The 36-year-old Helda Madau, known as Hilda M from Ha-Mandiwana village, is now living the life that she dreamed about when she was young. She bagged a mini role in the very popular Muvhango, and she also recorded an Afro-soul album.

The album, Ya longa khwanda ya nwa features hit songs such as Khotsi a vhananga, Ya longa Khwanda yonwa and Khavhanndwele.

She said her new album was about guidance, love and motivation. “I have worked very hard on it and I know my fans will love it because I have grown in terms of my music. If you enjoyed my previous album, you will definitely enjoy this one.”

Helda said one of the challenges she faced in the music industry was a lack of support, “Our people don’t buy music, and they don’t support us (musicians). They all send each other our music for free.” Her music is available at all the digital stores and on social-media platforms.
