Pastor Lufuno Tshabuse launches her book

Pastor Lufuno Tshabuse of Hope of Nations church recently launched her motivational book, When it hurts don't just hide at Christ Worship House Church in Shayandima.

She said that the book aimed to encourage people to love themselves. "You must take care of yourself in such a way that you can avoid premature death, sickness and diseases that are caused by issues happening to you. This book will help you to handle your mind and body and to avoid the coming stress. It also aims to decrease the number of people who are getting sick and dying because of stress," she said. 

Pastor Tshabuse, who hails from Thohoyandou Block J, said the idea to pen this book was inspired by seeing many people suffering from sickness and diseases that no medicine could cure because the root cause was stress. "Stop denying that you are stressed. You should seek help immediately because it might take your life," she said.

The mother of two is also a motivational speaker who inspires businesspeople, students, youths and mothers. She is one of the founders of the Nurse the Girl in You organization, that hosts seminars to empower women. "I'm driven by passion and willingness to empower people. Writing a book is an expression of the powerful gift God installed in me," she said. 

The 77-page book is published by The Next Big Thing Entertainment. Local artists Naledzani Netshirembe, Taki Sikhwivhilu, Mercy Masakona, Elijah Ramikosi, Refilwe Ndou and Cyril entertained the attendees during the event.

The 22-year-old Mbulaheni (Gary) Ridovhona has been passionate about journalism to the extent that he would buy himself a copy of weekly Univen students' newsletter, Our Voice. After reading, he would write stories about his rural village, Mamvuka, and submit them to the very newsletter for publication.
