Do not miss the Spar Music Festival

 

The Spar Music Festival is back with a bang this year. The festival will be held at Thohoyandou Babylon Resort on 30 December.

Since 2013, the festival has continued to attract thousands of people. The event organizer, Sakie Ligudu, said that the event aimed to promote local talent. "We also want to alleviate poverty through this music festival," Ligudu said.

Some of the artists who will entertain the attendants are Samthing Soweto, Takie Ndou, Makhadzi, Vhuyi The DJ, DJ Lagguga, Colbert Mukwevho, Humbulani Ramagwedzha, DJ Lunatic and Romeo.

Mbulaheni Ridovhona

The 22-year-old Mbulaheni (Gary) Ridovhona has been passionate about journalism to the extent that he would buy himself a copy of weekly Univen students' newsletter, Our Voice. After reading, he would write stories about his rural village, Mamvuka, and submit them to the very newsletter for publication.
