Dynamos must collect maximum points at the expense of Mpumalanga Black Aces, when they meet at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday, if they want to make their dream of campaigning in the promotional playoffs at the end of the season a reality.
The Pride of Giyani gave away points last Sunday, when they lost 1-2 to the University of Pretoria at the same venue. The team’s chairman, Mr Pat Malabela, is still adamant that his side will finish their league programme within the top three positions.
Dynamos are currently lying in the eighth position on the log, and their chances of finishing within the top three position will become a mere myth if they fail to collect full points on Sunday. The match will start at 15:00.
In the other National First Division League matches that will also be played on Sunday, Witbank Spurs will host Vasco da Gama at the Ackerville Stadium in Witbank. Spurs are fighting for survival, as they are perched at the bottom of the log.
African Warriors and Thanda Royal Zulu will meet at the Charles Mopedi Stadium, while Bay United will host University of Pretoria at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. FC AK will meet Carara Kicks at the Eldorado Park Stadium.
Tomorrow's matches are United vs Atlie at the Botshabelo Stadium and Sivutsa Stars vs Blackburn Rovers at the Buffalo City Stadium. In the only match that will be played this evening, Chippa United will play against FC Cape Town at the Phillipi Stadium.
