Humiliating draw for Dynamos

GIYANI – The enthusiastic fans of Dynamos left Giyani Stadium disappointed after their home team unexpectedly played to a 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Juventus in their Premier First Division league match last Saturday.

What frustrated the fans most was that the team missed a penalty in the first half of the game.

Katlehong City scored three goals and conceded two against Ledwaba Power Stars. Mabopane Young Masters and Alexandra United shared the spoils. Their match ended with a goalless draw.

Dobsonville All Nations beat Spartak Football Club 2-1 at Dobsonville ground. Bloemfontein Celtic used their home ground advantage fruitfully when they crushed Sporting Football Club 2-1 at the Newlands Stadium.

Thembisa City Sharks lost 1-2 to Witbank Black Aces at Thembisa Stadium. Bloemfontein Young Tigers had a good day when they thrashed Welkom Stars 3-0 at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium. Highlandspark Silver Stars beat Pietersburg Pillars 1-0 at Pietersburg Stadium.

The results for the Coastal Stream matches are Basotho Tigers 2, Saxon Rovers 4; Mother City 1, William Pescod 3; Premier United 1, Rainbow Stars 1; PE Technikon 0, Newtons 0; Royal Tigers 2, Avendale Athletico 2; FC Fortune 1, Maritzburg City 1 and African Wanderers 4, Park United 1.
