Samba Girls must beat Mighty Girls

Teams affiliated to the Limpopo Stream of the Sasol Women’s League will play their second-last league matches this weekend.

Samba Girls must win their match against Real Mighty Girls when they meet at the Mabalane grounds outside Giyani tomorrow afternoon. Only a win will be good enough to see Samba Girls move out of the relegation zone.

Mighty Girls are still battling to come to terms with the 0-2 defeat they suffered at the hands of Morning Stars Lacoste at the Guvhukuvhu grounds last Saturday. Should they not change their playing pattern against Samba Girls tomorrow, it will be difficult for Mighty Girls to collect the maximum points, even hough they will be playing in front of their home crowd. Mighty Girls played defensive football in their game against Morning Stars, so their 0-2 is understandable.

Mighty Girls must keep a watchful eye on the Samba Girls’ playmakers, Murembiwa “Mdu” Mugivhi and Mpho Nemathaga.

The rest of the fixtures are: Mphanama Ladies vs Morning Stars; Chippas United Ladies FC vs Kanatla Ladies;  Maindis Ladies vs University of Limpopo FC;  Mandebele Happy Fighters vs Tshandama Young Stars;  Botlokwa Ladies vs First Touch Academy;  Moria Sweepers vs Sisters FC and Re Tla Dira Ladies vs Seven Stars.
