TTM too strong for TS Sporting

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) are in a celebratory mode after collecting three points in their NFD League match against TS Sporting FC.

They beat them 2-1 at the Kabokweni Stadium outside Nelspruit on Saturday.

Onyedikachi Ononogbu scored the opening goal for the Tshakhuma side in the 67^th minute. It was his fifth goal of the season.

The team’s new signee, Vuyani Ntanga, was on target moments later. The home side pulled one back in the referee’s optional time. They were awarded a controversial penalty and David Skhosana made no mistake from the white spot.

TTM are now in the third spot on the log, following the victory. They have 22 points, five behind the pace setters, Stellenbosch FC.

After losing three matches in a row, Ajax Cape Town made a comeback and shocked the University of Pretoria 2-0 at the Cape Town Stadium. It was the first victory for Ajax under the guidance of the team’s new head coach, Mr Andries Ulderink.

Richards Bay FC registered their first victory away from home when they beat Maccabi FC 1-0 at the Dobsonville Stadium in Johannesburg.

Royal Eagles were unstoppable when they unexpectedly beat Jomo Cosmos 2-0 at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg.  Ubuntu Cape Town enhanced their chances of escaping the relegation axe at the end of the season by beating Witbank Spurs 1-0 at the Puma Rugby Stadium in eMalahleni.

Cape Umoya United shared the spoils with Uthongathi FC when they played to a goalless draw at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. Mbombela United beat Royal Kings 3-1 at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban. The pace setters, Stellenbosch FC, played to a 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy at the Kameelrivier Stadium in Siyabuswa.
