Mikhado and TRON in Vhembe derby

The Rabali Stadium will be a good place for soccer lovers to be tomorrow afternoon. That is where the much-awaited ABC Motsepe League match between Mikhado FC and Tshakhuma RO Nandilani (TRON) will take place.

While Mikhado will be fighting with the aim of keeping their title hopes alive, TRON must also win the match, but for a different reason.

Mikhado are currently in the third position on the log standings with 36 points, four behind the pace setters, Magesi FC. Mikhado have two matches in hand. Should they win their two outstanding matches, Mikhado will jump to the top of the log, two points ahead of Magesi FC.

On the other hand, TRON must win the match in order to move out of the relegation zone. Although TRON are currently in the 10th spot on the log, they are not safe when it comes to relegation.

TRON will pin their hopes on Thivhulawi Silima, Dakalo Nemakonde and Gift Nemutandani for goals, while Fhumulani Mushavhanamadi, Rendani Liguluwa and Khuliso Phosiwa are expected to keep their danger area clean throughout the game.

The TRON defenders must keep an eagle’s eye on the strikers of Mikhado, Rendani Thavhana, Aluwani Nedzamba and Bornwise Molobo.

Polokwane City Academy will meet Berachah Valley at the Seshego Stadium in the only match that will be played this afternoon (Friday). Venda Football Academy will travel to Polokwane where they will play against Mighty FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
