International Female Riders Day will be celebrated on 6 May this year, with women from across the world coming together to celebrate women on bikes.
This day will be celebrated for the 11th time in South Africa and for the second time in Limpopo. Limpopo riders are urged to support the event, organised nationally by Lady Bikers SA (www.ladybikerssa.co.za).
At present, the Limpopo organisers are compiling a database of all female riders who would like to compete in the event and require more information. Persons interested should therefore contact provincial organiser Mariaan Coetzee at tel 084 620 2550.
