Gospel star ties the knot

Multi-talented gospel musician Rofhiwa Manyaga of Taki and Rofhiwa fame recently married his long-time sweetheart, Mbavhalelo Kutama. The guests list at the celebrity wedding resembled a "who's who" in the music and the business world and the ceremony took place at the Christ Worship House in Shayandima.

Manyaga's latest album, Victory, hit the shelves a short while ago and the wedding was a fitting celebration of his successes. His new wife, Mbavhalelo, is from Mauluma in Nzhelele but currently works for Vodacom in Johannesburg. Rofhiwa is the founder of the Rofhiwa Gospel Star search, which unearthed talents like Thabelo Thavhanyedza, who went on to record a monster gospel hit, Kha A Rendiwe Yesu.

The wedding had been in the pipeline for some time, but Rofhiwa said they postponed it to give him time to focus on his music. He also said he waited for the right time as they were both still not mature enough to settle down.

"I have waited for this day for too long. I think we are both mature enough that we could now settle down and be together forever. Music will always come second to her, and I will dedicate much of my time to her. I think this relationship will work and last forever," said Manyaga.
