Tshidino releases new album

“Doing enough research makes it easier for artists to break into the industry.”

Tshidino Ndou said those words when he was introducing his new album, Vivho li a ondisa.

Tshidino, who gained musical fame with his two previous albums, Ni songo nyadza and Ri kho phusha lyf, is back with his fourth album. It comprises eight songs.

“Be prepared to sing along songs such as Luvholela lwau, Second chance and Vivho li a ondisa,” he said.

The multi-talented Tshidino is not a selfish man. He also helps other artists with tips of making it in the music business. Apart from music, he is also the owner of Vhadino Fashion Clothing, a company that aims to preserve the culture of Venda people by printing Ndi Muvenda branded t-shirts.

He is also running a Facebook page called Vhaimbi Na Vhasiki Vha Muzika Wa Tshivendato promote and market other Venda artists regardless of their different stables and genres. He has also assisted his hometown, Tshakhuma in the establishment of an online community newspaper called Tshakhuma Na Ndilani News.

"I would like to thank all the radio stations that play my music,” he said. “Stations such as Phalaphala FM, Univen FM, Makhado FM and Musina FM made me what I am today.”

Tshidino added that artists can make a living out of the growing music industry if they are equipped with the right information. “Artists need to establish and secure their own fan-base,” he shared.

Tshidino also manages artists under his label, Vhadino Entertainment. Some of the artists under his label include Mavutha and DJ Roneh.
