The ultimate release of Tshilidzi 'C-Man' Tshaduli's second full-length album, Vuwani, which was first released as a single for sampling to radio stations some two years ago, serves as a milestone in the reggae genre.
A 13-track album is full of musical delights which are relevant to the reggae genre. It has strong melodies and flowing rhythm with mellifluous piano and resounding drums.
“Fans had been calling me all the time, telling me that they wanted a new album,” he said. “But then I thought the project needed more work and revisiting at the time. We don't just go to the studio, record and release an album.”
He said that art needed constructive post-production criticism, so as to test and verify its prospective quality and reception once it landed out in the market. “After recording some songs, we had to send them around to trusted sources, who listened to them and gave honest critique,” he said.
There are a number of electrifying songs on this album – and they include Vhutshilo ndi linga, Together, Renda Yehoha, and No Mmbaisa mbilu. “I want everyone who listens to my music to get a message and enjoyment out of the songs,” he said.
C-Man worked with executive producer Balcan Sikhwari (Ballitainment Media) and the project was produced and arranged by Ishmael “NewBeed” Rammbwa.
This passionate singer is a resident of Ha-Ravele in the Sinthumule area. His love for music as a career was realised in 2006 when he was in the worship team of Trinity Bible Church in Mpumalanga province, where he was studying business management. He has become known as a respected performer for his even and gentle voice which seems to have matured since the release of his first album.
C-Man can be phoned on 084 078 6715.
