"I am looking forward to the day I will be representing this province in the finals of Miss South Africa,” she added.

According to organiser Mr Trinity Tshivhula, their aim was to identify ambassadors for social-responsibility programmes. They also wants “to showcase and promote community charitableness, cultural excellence, awareness, education and unity. We need to promote and encourage youth enhancement by contributing socially, economically and culturally to community and environmental sustainability. We need natural beauty, not girls with facelifts and plastic surgery,” he added.

“We expect the winner to work with the youth, promoting youth activities and to be a role model in society," Tshivhula said.
