A new name in the gospel fraternity, Meshack Makumbane, will be launching his debut album Tshanda Tsha Yehova on the 16th of July at the Tshisaulu Assemblies of God.

The 20-year-old Makumbane hails from Tshisaulu Riverside outside Thohoyandou.

The album comprises ten beautiful and uplifting songs and three of them are Tshanda Tsha Yehovah, Umphe Mannda,Rotshidziwa Nga Tshilidzi and Muya Wanga.

“I started singing when I was 14 years old. My mother is a good singer, but she couldn’t get the opportunity to release an album. I sing gospel music, because it uplifts souls and heal broken hearts,” he said.

According to Makhumbane, pastor Benjamin Dube and Rofhiwa Manyaga serve as huge inspiration for him. He is currently studying business management at the South West Gauteng College.

People can also reach him on 072 477 3071.

The doors for the launching ceremony will open at 17:00. The general tickets are available at R50 and VIP tickets cost R100. Tsiko Malindi, Tiyani Maluleke, Ananias Bugana and Palesa Ravele will be the supporting artists during the event.
