Afro Soul singer releases her debut album

Afro Soul singer Usiane Magwabeni recently released her debut album, You Are Beautiful.

She said that the album was all about inspiration and motivating everyone about different aspects in life. "Learn to accept who you are, stand in front of the mirror and tell that image that you are beautiful, despite what everyone might say about you. The album talks to young people and adults and it gives guidance during good and bad times," she added.

The album has 10 tracks and she added that the track Ngoho Iya Todea, loosely translated as "truth is needed," carried an important message to the listeners.

"Truth will set you free. Never be afraid to tell the truth, no matter how scary it seems; just say it, and you will be free. Truth is very important. If you are being offended somewhere, say it, even if the outcome means you will be hated. It's fine, as long as you talk the truth," she added.

She has a vision of reaching the masses. "I aim to reach far and believe that the album must be heard by everyone and the coming generations. I hope in couple of months it will speed all over the world and the message reaches people," she said.
