Letters Date: 11 June 2015
On behalf of the organizers of the 2015 PPC Kremetart Cycling Race and P&L Cycling Club, we would like to thank our sponsors for their generous and dedicated support.
To organize and present this race takes up an enormous amount of time and money, as we do have many areas to cover, from providing 2 000 participants and more than 500 local workers with enough refreshments for three days and utilizing the best local medical and security services, to route preparing and keeping to our obligations with Cycling SA and keeping our liability insurance up to date.
With your help, we were able to cover a big part of our expenses. Some of the sponsors include the following people and organisations:
PPC Cement, Total Petroleum, KFC, Pick n Pay, Hyundai, Imperial Motors, Santam, the Democratic Alliance, BB Auto, Ladies Circle 4, Agora Club 1, Fruit & Veg, PD Otto Elektries, Du Toit’s Bande, Vaughan van Niekerk, Vonitel Communications, Capricorn FM, Louis Trichardt Local Department of Roads and Transport (Michael Rademeyer), the South African Police Service, Makhado Municipal traffic department, Department of Transport and provincial traffic department, Waterpoort neighbourhood watch, Vivo neighbourhood watch, P&L Hardware: managers and crew, Road Hogs, the Zoutpansberger, Dries van der Walt, CVO Skool Vivo, Schoemansdal EEC, SAPS Motorbike unit, SA Physio, Louis Trichardt local pilots, South African Air Force, Louis Trichardt Primary School, Louis Trichardt High School, Soutpansberg NG Kerk (Marshalls), Mike Henning and Team, Godfrey Went and Team, Belta Services, Madi Gra Water, Refresh Energy Drinks, Limpopo Tourism, Debo Motors, Mountain View Hotel Staff, Isabel de Necker, Charl Nelson, Marshalls on bicycles: Kate Kotzè, Johan and Lizette Kotzee, Eugené van den Heever, Chris Bruce and Johan Steyn, Unique Ads, Kia, Thompson’s Motors, Komatiland Forestry, Makhado Municipality, Silver Edge Studios / Eksportief, Maud Myburgh, Helivac, Riaan Dreyer, Laura van Zyl and TimeMe.
Please note that the PPC Kremetart Cycling race is still the biggest cycling event in Limpopo Province and that this event creates a very big financial injection for our local rural areas. With your support, we are also able to improve social economic development and are continuously creating health and fitness awareness in our youth communities and schools.
For the residents of Witvlag, Waterpoort, Alldays, Vivo, Buysdorp, Thsikwarani and Makhado, this is surely one of the highlights of their year, as they contribute by supporting visitors from other provinces and countries. We can proudly state that you will not find a friendlier race in South Africa, and the whole community is thus responsible for giving us the ongoing status of “Best-Organised Race”.
You have again contributed to the success of this prestigious event and we are looking forward to your involvement during the 2016 Kremetart, when it will be our 27th race.
Kind regards and blessings
