GABA - The police have staged a manhunt, after an unknown suspect at Gaba Village raped a 4-year-old girl on Sunday.

Her nephew found the baby and she was taken to the Vhufuli hospital. “The doctor certified that the girl had been raped. When the girl was asked if she knew the suspect, she described him as ‘Mukhuwa’,” said Insp Thivhulawi Tshilate.

In the Venda tradition, Mukhuwa means a white person. The police’s investigation is still going on.

Meanwhile, the police at Siloam have arrested a 20-year-old man for stealing a goat that was bought to be slaughtered on Christmas Day at Gogogo Village. He will appear in court soon.
