HLANGANANI – The police at Hlanganani have opened an inquest docket following the death of a man whose body was found hanging from a tree in the bushes between Mahatlani and Ribungwane villages on Sunday afternoon.
According to the spokesperson of the Hlanganani police station, Insp Vincent Makhubele, the body was discovered by passers-by.
The police statement further indicates that the body was already in a decomposed state when it was discovered. All efforts to locate the deceased's relatives bore no fruit. The deceased was still unknown at the time of going to press. The old man is estimated to be 68 years old.
