He was found dead in the palace last Tuesday evening (23/02). The spokesperson for the Mphephu Police, W/O Lazarus Netshidzato, confirmed the death of Chief Ravele and said Ravele´s body was found shortly after 18:00 by his wife, when she returned home. He added that the police had opened an inquest docket, following the incident. Netshidzati said at this stage the police did not expect any foul play and that police investigations were continuing. Ravele is the son of the former president of the erstwhile Republic of Venda, Frank Ravele.
