According to the municipal spokesperson of the Vhembe District Municipality, Mr Ralushai Matodzi, criminals have stolen one of the boosterpumps. Due to this act of vandalism boreholes 10, 11 and 12 were affected negatively and the water supply to Makhado (Louis Trichardt) was interrupted. "Once maintenance is completed the  [ water] supply will resume," said Matodzi. He could not give an estimated time frame on the maintenance work.
