MAEBANE - A well-known businessman, Mr Tshililo Khorommbi, popularly known as "Champ" intends to take legal action against the "Maebane Kangaroo Court" for defamation of character.

This follows the allegation that he had killed his employee, Mr Samuel Tshamiswe (35), of Maebane Village on Sunday.

The community marched to Khorommbi's business, threatening to put it on fire. By that time Khorommbi was not around and he was phoned by his father to address the angry mob. When Khorommbi arrived at the scene, the mob gave him three hours within which he had to show them Mr Tshamiswe.

The community alleged that Khorommbi had gone with Samuel and ritually murdered him at Vivo.

It was later established that Mr Tshamiswe was found drinking beer at Indermark.
