The Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) in the province has lost another senior member.
Following the death of PAC deputy secretary in the province, Nicholas Dangale, who passed away on July 27, Finest Mnisi passed away last Tuesday in a hospital in Nelspruit. Mnisi had been in hospital for the past two years.
The PAC provincial leader, Maxwell Nemadzivhanani, said Mnisi's death was a great loss to the party, the community and all his friends and relatives. Mnisi, who hailed from Bushbuckridge, joined the PAC in the late eighties and actively participated in the politics and activities of the Pan Africanist Students Organisation as organiser.
He participated at the 1991 United Patriotic Front Conference held in Durban, as a PAC delegate. Mnisi, a teacher by profession, was the Limpopo Provincial Secretary at the time of his death.
Nemadzivhanani said the PAC Limpopo provincial legislature extended heartfelt condolences to his wife and immediate family. "We shall miss his unselfish contribution within the PAC," he said.
