Kabelo Nonyane (15) a grade 8 pupil at the Mainganye Secondary School drowned on Tuesday afternoon while swimming with friends in a stream near Madadzhi. Family members as well as other members of the community spend the night at the stream while police divers searched for the body. The search continued the following day when the divers finally retrieved the body. A cousin of the deceased, Samuel Samphenyana, thanked the community for all the support. He said the funeral will be held next Saturday (9 March). In the photo a forensic officer checks the body shortly after it was retrieved from the water.
