MAKHADO (LOUIS TRICHARDT) – A passerby made a grisly discovery earlyTuesday morning, when he discovered a human foetus next to a municipal dumpster.

The foetus, said to be approximately four months old, was discovered by a man looking for cardboard boxes in the dumpsters in the parking area behind Edgars. The police was immediately informed of the grisly discovery and a case of concealment of birth was opened.

According to the police, the almost completely developed foetus might have been dumped there the previous night, on June 14. They appealed to members of the public to come forward with information about the identity of the mother.
