NZHELELE – Six new Chiefs were installed by Thovhele Kennedy Midiyavhathu Tshivhase at Tshikombani last Saturday.
Tshivhase said he is promoting good governance and is looking for development and transformation for the Venda tribe. "A good leader cannot cause disputes over wages, because our forefathers ruled Venda without wages," he said. He also condemned traditional leaders who force members of the communities to pay stamp fees, when the latter are looking for help from them.
He installed Mr Ndidzulafhi Philemon Lusunzi as a chief at the sub-village, called Thondoni. His chiefdom is called Nkhelebeni.
Mr Mutshinyalo Alfred Lusunzi was installed to lead the people at Tombo la vhalisa and his chiefdom is called Vhulenda. Mr Mukhuvhathi Nelson Lusunzi was given the right to lead the Tshipanabulege area, and his new name is Thikolelwi. Chief Avhafunani Edward Tshivhase was given the authority to rule the Tshifulanani area and his new name is Alunangwi.
