LOUIS TRICHARDT - The Police flushed out some fourteen illegal immigrants from the bushes near the local rubbish dump last Friday, following the latest serious crime emanating from that area.

A special clean-up operation was launched, after a 20-year old women was allegedly gang-raped at the dump at about 19:00 last Wednesday. Four men are said to have been involved in the incident.

According to a police spokesman illegal immigrants converge on the dumping site after dark to sleep there in the bushes. They return to town at about 04:00 in the mornings, to start their daily "harvest" of stolen goods. The Police issued a serious warning to people to avoid the area after dark.
