Gospel star Albert Mudau, whose disappearance from the music arena almost 10 months ago led to a lot of speculation, has come out to set the record straight.
Mudau, who used to entertain people at functions and churches around Limpopo and a familiar sight at shopping complexes around Vhembe, with seven hit albums under his belt, has switched the mike for the chalk board.
After persistent calls from his loyal fans who wanted to know of his whereabouts and his music, Limpopo Mirror took up the task and traced Mudau and his family to Ennerdale in Gauteng where he is a teacher at Spectrum Primary School. "I apologise profusely to my fans for my disappearing act. Everything happened so fast. They should know that I am a teacher by profession and when the opportunity availed itself, I grabbed it with open arms, and relocated with my family to Gauteng," he said.
Mudau assured all that he was not lost to the music industry but would be coming back with a very hot album soon. "Music is my life. I am so much attached to it that nothing could take its place. With my hands full because of my studies and teaching, I have time to rehearse and people would not be disappointed."
Since his arrival in Gauteng, he has performed in different churches around Pretoria and Johannesburg. He can be phoned on 082 509 4259 or 074 5542 886 and he can be e-mailed to: [email protected]
