MAKHADO (LOUIS TRICHARDT) - The Chairpersons Association (CA) has invited the mayor of Makhado, Cllr Rhulani Nkuzana, to address the association on good corporate governance on Thursday, July 22, at the Bergwater Hotel.

The purpose of the meeting is to enhance the good relationship between the CA and the Council. Crucial topics will be discussed in a positive atmosphere from a non-political perspective. The topics include the importance of good transparent governance, measures to protect the public against corruption, marketing the town as a tourism and business destination, wealth creation, and contingency planning in respect of the farmers’ situation.

The occasion is the Annual General Meeting of the CA and chairpersons of all organizations are invited. Interested members of the public are also welcome. The meeting will commence at 18:00.
