MUSINA – The Musina police are appealing to members of the community to help them arrest the person who might have dumped a newly born baby.

The baby was found dead by community members. To add insult to injury, the infant was apparently dumped in the sewerage system in town near the municipality offices.

Community members found the baby on Sunday morning and immediately informed the police.

Police spokesperson Captain Ailwei Mushavhanamadi said they were appealing to community members to help them with information that can lead to the arrest of the mother of the child.
