MOPANI – The police in the Mopani area have arrested a 38-year-old man and charged him with bestiality, after he was caught having sexual intercourse with a pregnant goat.

The incident took place at the Lulekani Township in the Phalaborwa area last Saturday afternoon at about 15:45.

According to the spokesperson of the police in the area, Capt Moatshe Ngoepe, passers-by heard a strange noise in the nearby bushes. When they got closer to the scene they saw the suspect busy having sexual intercourse with a goat. The suspect did not see them until they returned and decided to report the matter to the police.

The suspect was still busy with his brutal exercise, when the police arrived at the scene. The man was naked at the time of his arrest. According to the police statement the goat died a few hours after the incident. The suspect was still to appear in court at the time of going to press.
