MOILA – A well-known, self-proclaimed "prophet" from Moila, Piet Moshao, was put behind bars after he had allegedly misled an 18-year-old girl to have sexual intercourse with him before he could pray for her at his home last Saturday night.

It is alleged that she arrived at his home and that he then told her to take off her clothes before he could pray for her. He then allegedly told her that she should have sex with him, before the prayers.

After the alleged incident, she revealed the matter to other people. The incident was reported to the police who arrested the suspect. He appeared in court earlier this week, and the case was postponed. He remains in custody.
